A piece of 2013, part II

2013 continued bringing all sorts of unexpected experiences throughout the next few months, here's a list of what happened:

April-June

I started collaborating with big magazines, such as Grazia and Vanidad. I shot a big number of portraits for both magazines, specially Grazia. Taking pictures, as I said, is one of my two big passions, but I found taking portraits to be an amazingly fun and challeging when you don't know the person you're taking a picture of, as it was the case. Below are some examples of these shoots, in which I had a great time by trying to make them a little more spontaneous.

Actress Inma Cuesta
Even though this is not a real portait, I still like it.
This shoot was one of the funnest.
Actress Claudia Traissac
Mar y Ana, owners of Marlota and Malababa respectively.

We spent a the few days off I had from my masters in Menorca, my favourite place to spend holidays. We hiked a lot, ate fresh fish and seafood, swam in a not-too-warm-yet Mediterranean sea and, most of all, we did not work, we just enjoyed the island and got a bunch of relax.

We had the chance to watch the "super moon" in Menorca. Menorca has been designated Biosphere Reserve, so it was the perfect atmosphere and environment to gaze at the moon and enjoy a beautiful color gradient at sunset.

Nina and Charlie (Charlie's one of Kevin's friends from college)came to the city for a visit. We were not living in the center yet, so we rented a flat with them during their stay and it was wonderful. We had so much fun and did so many things, we even went on a day trip to Navacerrada (mountains in Madrid) and Segovia, another province in Spain that belongs to the Castilla y León community.

Navacerrada.
Exploring La Granja de San Fernando.
Charlie and Nina at the Parador de Segovia.
Our brunch after Charlie and Nina left for the U.S.
